Chairmats: There are 4 main options and multiple sizes and shapes.
Shapes are Rectangle and Key hole, the key hole shape is so your mat can fit under your desk.

For carpet

1. Low Pile       - for low pile carpet up to 6mm thick with no underlay
2. Medium pile - for medium pile carpet up to 12mm thick
3. Deep Pile     - for plush pile carpet up to 15mm thick

For Hard floors

• Hard floor - this has no spike on the bottom of the mat so it should not slide.

Most office workers move around on their chairs all day. This constant movement digs into carpet and hard floor surfaces, creating unsightly damage and a potential hazard. Marbig offers a range of chairmats to suit every office so you can stabilise chair movement, prevent slipping and keep your carpet in prime condition. You may need to do a Pin Test.
Conducting a 'Pin Test' helps you to determine the thickness of your carpet AND underlay, enabling you to select the correct Marbig chairmat.

1. Push a pin into the carpet and the underlay until you are unable to push any further.
2. Mark the pin with a marker where the pin meets the top of the carpet.
3. Remove the pin and measure the distance between the tip of the pin and the mark on the pin. This will give you the thickness of the carpet AND underlay.
